So I was working on new pages and listening to homework from my last year in university for music, and even though I’ve heard those songs a billion times across the span of many many years, I don’t know why it was only today that this song hit me so hard. This happens all the time but very rarely do I feel it visually, and even rarer do I actually stop what I’m doing and grasp the inspiration, since my self discipline is a little too great for this kind of spontaneous work. But I did today and spent two hours or so coming up with a sketch. It’s most likely the fact that this is a dance that enabled to actually see what I’m hearing, I love dances……
Please listen to the song, at least the middle section from 1:50 on for a little bit since that’s the part I wanted to draw. I’m a huge sucker for these kinds of magical modulations, it’s just soooo beautiful and blissful and romantic and makes my emotions swelllll and completely obliterate everything else that I was thinking about aughhh ;;; the picture itself is cheesy and generic but I’m just overflowing with happiness and needed to get it out of my system before I can return to drawing meron kicking ass. I would wish to have been able to play this piece with someone else when I was still in school, but I know in actuality that would hardly be gratifying because all practicing issues and efforts aside, finding a pianist whose play style matches mine would be like finding a man with whom I want to spend the rest of my life :I

I’ve got it. This is Kanzeon, the character previously known as my RO high priest. She’s a fighter pilot. She is also the god of Mercy and oversees the suffering of people. She assigns punishments and rewards through her messenger servant, a succubus my high priest character had as a pet. #thisallmakessense

How to select and flat a stupidly detailed area of line art

Disclaimer: I am not the omnipotent master of photoshop nor a professional flatter. It is highly probable that this is not even the most efficient way, but I would like to share my way with those who are suffering from this step of colouring and don’t know any better just like me.
@marimowish: yeah! I use the select inverse method for selecting whole figures, this is for those who need separate layers/layer masks for separate elements, since as you can see there is nothing inverse about selecting hair that is surrounded by lineart of clothes and bodyparts!
