superlote asked: Hiya. I'm not gonna lie, but I'm barely keeping up with your manga-- I haven't been too interested in any manga lately, much to my chagrin, as I want to be a manga-ka as well. (Btw, good job on the style and such) I'm not so much concerned about getting the manga-style down because I know I'll get there, but moreso concerned about how I'll form a story. You see all these mangas that have their titles, and right below it "story and art by ___" So, my question is, how do you manage a story?

I dunno ): I wanted to write a story and so I wrote one. I tend to just write out write down disconnected scenes that come to mind; through those scenes I insert arbitrary information on how characters interact with each other, how their personalities are like and trivial details about the world. Usually I just leave my story in pieces like this and let it rot, until whenever I suddenly come up with an idea to connect them all together naturally, at which time I sit down and write out the whole thing at once.
