drops-in-sea asked: Shilin! I can't tell you how much you're a inspiration for me since it is always a dream of mine to get my own manga published. I'm curious of why you don't try to sign on with a bigger publisher like Yen+ to circulate your work. They can get your stuff to a much wider audience and you don't have to pay yourself for all the copies. With your talent I'm sure they'd take you. Or are you still trying to gather a fanbase for your first manga before going to the big league? Thanks for the amazingness

Thank you ;; first of all I don’t think those companies will take my work, it’s not that great and most importantly it’s not made in Japan. Secondly unless they highly value my series, I don’t think I will get much out of being published; I will not get much promotion and aside from that, there is really nothing they can do that I can’t on my own, albeit they can probably do it for cheaper. I will also be put on a schedule and how I continue my story may be subject to their opinions, lastly I don’t think they will let me post my comic online. I don’t want to lose the freedom I have right now unless it is thoroughly worth giving up a large portion of my profit and freedom for.
